We are proud to announce that the Postman API Platform has been named “Best in API Management” by API World’s 2023 API Awards. The annual event celebrates technical innovation and standout solutions adopted by the global API and integration community.

“APIs are the building blocks of modern software and are increasingly driving revenue for customers across different industries,” said Postman Co-Founder and CEO Abhinav Asthana. “Recognition from programs like the API Awards validates our mission of simplifying each step of the API lifecycle and streamlining collaboration so that teams of all sizes can create better APIs—faster.”

Award winners were selected by the independent, expert-led DevNetwork API Advisory Board, which looked for a solution’s successes in:

  • Technical innovation
  • Attracting notable attention and awareness in the API industry
  • General regard and use by the API and integration ecosystems and communities

“The API economy has matured extensively over the past decade, and Postman API Platform is helping API and integration professionals and engineers build the future of APIs in the multi-trillion-dollar market for API-driven products and services,” said Jonathan Pasky, executive producer and co-founder of DevNetwork, producer of the API World conference & the 2023 API Awards. “Today’s digital economy is increasingly powered by API-centric architecture and platforms. Postman API Platform’s win here at the 2023 API Awards is evidence of their leading role in the growth of the global API ecosystem.”

With the 2023 State of the API Report finding that almost two-thirds of more than 40,000 surveyed API professionals said their APIs generate revenue, this win reflects Postman’s key role in developer adoption of an API-first approach as they create powerful applications.

Thank you to our global community of more than 25 million developers for choosing Postman—and for guiding how our API platform evolves to support their modern needs as we build the API-first world.
