Introducing Public Workspace Summary Emails

Postman public workspaces are quickly becoming an essential part of driving adoption for every public API. API producers have now published more than 75,000 workspaces and 150,000 collections serving more than 20 million users on the Public API Network.

People create public workspaces to increase the adoption of their APIs and enable a faster time to first call (TTFC). But how do you actually know if your workspaces are successful?

To help you have greater visibility into your workspace’s reach, we are excited to launch public workspace summary emails. These summary emails will give you weekly and monthly updates on how your public workspaces are performing, along with actionable advice on what you can do to get more engagement in your workspace.

To help you understand how successful your workspace is, the summary email will include metrics such as:

  • Number of active forks of your collections
  • Number of people watching your API or collection for updates
  • Number of overall views on your public workspaces

You can use these metrics to measure how your workspaces are performing and be more effective in increasing the adoption of your APIs. For example, did your collection get a lot of forks because of the documentation improvements you recently made? You can now better track the results of your hard work.

Share your workspace on your socials in one click

In addition, the summary email provides links to easily share your amazing workspaces with your community through Twitter and LinkedIn with one click.

So, if you haven’t already, go ahead and create your first public workspace today and supercharge the adoption of your APIs.
