The Postman Student Summit is a comprehensive online API event for students and educators from all over the world to collaboratively learn, share, and create all things API. Educators and college/high-school students of any experience level are invited to this global celebration of APIs. You don’t even need to have a computer science or programming background to attend—it’s open to students and educators from all fields.
The event will feature two dazzling keynotes. On Day 1, enjoy a fireside chat with Postman Co-founder and CEO Abhinav Asthana to learn about his journey and the future of APIs. On Day 2, hear from Postman Co-founder and CTO Ankit Sobti on why APIs are important for students and the future of software development. The keynotes on each day will be followed by a variety of API and lightning talks led by students and educators from the Postman student community.
If you’re a current student and a certified Postman Student Expert or Postman Student Leader, you can host your own talk at the event by submitting a talk proposal. If you’ve never made a proposal before, don’t worry. Our proposal-submission page will guide you through everything you need to know to create an impressive proposal.
In addition, we are conducting a pre-event hackathon, “Visualize for the Prize,” which kicks off on July 14. Stay tuned for an upcoming blog post with more details on how to participate. Hackathon prizes include an exclusive one-on-one career chat with a Postman employee, a Raspberry Pi 4 kit, and Postman swag. Winners will be announced at the Student Summit.
Register for the Postman Student Summit here and join us as we build student connections around API fun and collaboration. The Postman Student Programs team and community look forward to seeing you there.
