Postman is now on the web The [brand-new web version](https://test123987.postman.co/home) of Postman offers a range of performance and experience improvements by delivering Postman directly in your browser for the first time. ### ![](https://blog.postman.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/postman-OpenAPI-Initiative-150x150.png)3. **OpenAPI Initiative—we are in it together** This year we proudly [joined the OpenAPI Initiative](https://blog.postman.com/postman-joins-openapi-initiative/) as an official member alongside 35 other tech companies. The OAI is an inspiring, industry-wide project to promote a broadly adopted standard for describing modern APIs. We also introduced new [OAS](https://blog.postman.com/openapi-specification-postman-how-to/)-related capabilities in Postman. Introducing Postman public workspaces: the first massively multiplayer API experience** It wasn’t just the year of the web. AsyncAPI joins forces with Postman to define the future of APIs** Postman is now [partnering with AsyncAPI](https://blog.postman.com/asyncapi-joins-forces-with-postman-future-of-apis/)—an initiative for standardizing message-driven APIs to develop the open source tooling around its specification that the API community needs to deliver the next generation of APIs. ## A shoutout to our community members for their spectacular 2020 efforts This year we had record participation from community members on Postman’s community forum at [community.postman.com](http://community.postman.com/)—more than 2,000 new users created their first posts and we saw more than 7,000 new replies to posts.
