# Microcks joins the CNCF as a Sandbox project

We are pleased to announce that [Microcks](https://microcks.io/ "https://microcks.io/"), an open source [API mocking](https://blog.postman.com/what-is-api-mocking/) and testing tool and a [member of Postman Open Technologies team](https://blog.postman.com/postman-and-microcks-partner-enterprise-grade-mocking-and-testing/ "https://blog.postman.com/postman-and-microcks-partner-enterprise-grade-mocking-and-testing/"), has recently been accepted as a Sandbox project by the [Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF)](https://landscape.cncf.io/?selected=microcks "https://landscape.cncf.io/?selected=microcks").

This acceptance into the CNCF Sandbox marks an important milestone in Microcks' journey and is a testament to its potential to contribute to the cloud-native ecosystem, apart from being a well-deserved recognition for the two core maintainers of the project, [Laurent Broudoux](https://fr.linkedin.com/in/laurentbroudoux "https://fr.linkedin.com/in/laurentbroudoux") and [Yacine Kheddache](https://fr.linkedin.com/in/yacinekheddache "https://fr.linkedin.com/in/yacinekheddache").
